1. Alnwick Castle & Gardens, Northumberland
A magical castle wedding with its twinkly Treehouse reception deserves makeup that complements both the grandeur and the romance of the setting. Unfortunately, I have never been able to do the prep right in the midst of its splendor, as brides have always traveled to the venue from different locations within Alnwick itself (I do love Alnwick). But I just love the photographs adore Alnwick Castles's backdrop.
Classic Flawless bridal makeup here is all about luxury long-lasting elegance — soft-glam eyes, glowing skin, and a red lips that stay perfect through every castle photo opportunity. I created this bridal makeup with a vintage look for Alnwick Castle. A bold red lip against the flawless airbrushed skin is one of my favourite Bridal Makeup looks.
2.Woodhill Hall, Otterburn, Northumberland
I've been to Woodhill Halll many, many times witnessing its evolution over the years, being surprised with new additions every time I went. From the Love Hut, to the outdoor fire pit area. The beauty of Woodhill is the venue becomes yours for the duration of the Wedding, something that suits large families for a much needed get together. The venue is located in Otterburn - just behind Otterburn Mill and over the single lane bridge.For a classic, elegant wedding vibe, Woodhill Hall offers stunning interiors and gardens and quirky rooms. Here, I focus on luxury bridal makeup with natural highlights and contours to enhance features in natural light. Perfect for brides wanting a timeless, photo-ready look.
3. Flawless Bridal Makeup at South Causey Inn, County Durham
This ever popular boutique County Durham wedding venue is ideal for intimate weddings with charm and sophistication. I have been to South Causey Inn so many times, again a venue I have witnessed its full transformation from Equestrian Pub to expert Wedding specialsits, offering everything from London Red Bus accomodation to themed converted stables and fantastic Hen house bridal prep room. South Causey is quite local to me and about 40 minutes drive and within easy reach of Beamish outdoor museum (I love a visit there) and South Causey does a fine Sunday roast.
